Limited Structural Inspections

Home and building owners often stumble across something that causes concern about the safety of their structure. Wind damage, flood damage, poor construction, ground settling, accidents, pest infestations, and wood rot have been some of the reasons that we have been called for investigation.

We frequently investigate for insurers, lending institutions, investors, and homeowners. For those obtaining a pre-purchase commercial building inspection or a home inspection, we include limited structural inspections as part of our standard investigation and reports.

While we are not Structural Engineers, we are licensed Professional Engineers (PE) capable of evaluating if/when there is a need for extensive structural testing or design. Analagous to a doctor and a surgeon, we know when to call in a Structural Engineer (SE). But calling us first can save you money by avoiding an unnecessary invasive investigation.

If necessary, we are teamed with excellent Structural Engineers when the task requires.
